Introduction
This module enhances security and privacy in point-of-sale environments by allowing administrators to restrict access to POS orders—so each staff member can only view the orders they have personally created. By setting a simple flag in the user profile, managers ensure sensitive customer or sales data remains compartmentalized, reducing inadvertent access and improving operational confidentiality.
Key Features
Enable backend setting to restrict each user to view only their own POS orders.
Simplify configuration via a checkbox in the user's Point of Sale tab.
Hide orders created by other users to improve data privacy and clarity.
Maintain clean and role-aligned access control within the POS backend UI.
Benefits
Improves confidentiality by preventing visibility of orders by other users.
Enhances security and reduces risk of unauthorized order data access.
Supports better focus and clarity for staff when viewing orders.
Simplifies backend interface by tailoring order visibility per user permissions.
Strengthens internal controls over sensitive POS transaction data.

Level Up the security by restricting the orders user wise in POS!!
By default, in Odoo, all the orders of Point of Sale are visible to every user. But sometimes we wish that there should be a restriction in Orders, in terms of visibility.
Hence, we have introduced our module Odoo POS Display Orders User-Wise, using which admin can restrict the user to view the Orders of his POS only. So accordingly the particular user can view only his POS Orders.
Maintain the regimen at your POS Store efficiently
Restricting visibility at POS is the most important feature as of now for maintaining security in POS. It mainly saves your POS store from harmful threats and malwares. Also, it avoids data leakage into wrong hands.
As we know, all the orders of Point of Sale are visible to every user by default. However, due to security purposes, it's important to restrict the visibility of orders in POS too.
